Wedding Dresses – It’s all in the detail…

It’s the fine detail that’s important to me, such as the bride’s inspirations, colour palette, personality, style of wedding and budget.  From this detail I can then interrupt that into the bridal gown of her dreams.

Knowing what fabric and silhouette will flatter the bride; the shade or colour to match her complexion; the style of detail and how much or how little; and designing to keep her gown affordable to her are very important and only the beginning of the journey we take together.  A journey we both remember and treasure.

All the lace is fitted to the gown and then stitched by hand into place, leaving no seam lines to destroy the effect of the lace.

I’m very tactile and love the current bridal trends, allowing me to mix Dupion and organza silk, corded lace, hackle feathers, Swarovski bicone AB crystals and ivory/pink ombre, to create this wonderful merriment of a garden for my garden bride.
