2015 QLD Brides Design Awards.
I am personally very excited about our collection for the 2015 QLD Brides Design Awards.
I push my boundaries in everyday events, so it’s only natural with my designs and techniques I do the same and in doing so, I believe, makes me a better bridal couturier. Always aspiring for feminine originality, I focus strongly on flattering the female shape and environmental factors.
The bridal gowns being showcased at the awards this year I believe are some of my best to date and am finding it hard to select a favourite. I’m looking forward to the awards and already feel like a winner, being blessed with the ability to create such uniquely breathtaking wedding and formal dresses, making my clients feel extremely special wearing them. My client’s past and present, have given me so much joy during the entire journey of creating their special gown, that no matter how tonight goes, I will always feel like a winner and am humbled everyday with the knowledge of knowing I have made another lady feel extremely special and beautiful on her special day.
Photos of the award gowns were only shot yesterday on location at the breathtaking Evergreen Garden Venue in Parkwood and will be up shortly, once our fabulous photographer Andrew, from Thurtell Photography has a chance to look the photos over. The face of Helena Couture Designs, our model Hannah Dye did an amazing job yet again and looked absolutely stunning with her hair and makeup created by the gorgeous Amanda from Amanda Higl Hairstylist and Makeup Artist. Finishing off the look with some lovely bouquets from Kyla at Divine Wedding Flowers completed our fresh, romantic look.
I do have a sneak peek of one of our gowns being showcased at the awards this year, which I am excited to share. I even released the photos of it early, which I normally would never do, but found it too hard to resist, so enjoy…
