Mother And Daughter Wearing Custom Dresses From Helena Couture Designs.
Recently I was involved in a shoot, where Tahana from, ItsTahanaPhotography was the main shooter; Amanda from Amanda Higl Hair and Makeup was the HMUA; Carolina and her daughter were the models wearing Helena Couture Designs and Amanda’s son partnering Carolina’s daughter for this shoot.
I wanted to showcase that we not only design and create custom wedding dresses / bridal gowns, but also dresses for formals, black tie, mother of the bride / groom, or any other after five events. There are many evening dresses we have not had a chance to showcase, due to lack of images and so I decided to put together a shoot, where Carolina, one of my regular clients was able to wear her dresses for this and paired her up with her daughter wearing our flower girl dress.
Who said to never to work with kids or animals? It was a blast! When the kids had had enough they just retreated to the loungeroom, falling asleep watching TV. OK, yes there were a few hiccups along the way, but that’s all part of the learning curve. Skills that Tahana, Amanda, Carolina and I could only have learnt while on set.
