Blooming Beautiful Formal Dress, Rhiannon

I love designing custom formal dresses for Gold Coast clients, as much as I enjoy designing wedding dresses for brides from further afield Australia-wide, and up until COVID-19 hit, some from overseas too.

At Rhiannon’s initial consultation, she had some lovely inspiration of dress styles she liked. I suggested a different style which I knew Rhiannon would feel more comfortable in and would complement her figure shape better than the original inspiration. From the moment she tried our dress Hope on, there was no going back. The design and fabric changes were agreed, and the shade of green confirmed not long after.

The excitement and anticipation grew with each fitting as Rhiannon and Leeann saw her dress evolve from sketch to dress.

Rhiannon and her mum are positive people that love the freedom to express themselves, through their love of nature, natural crystals, and caring for the environment, just to name a few. They have similar ideals to my own. The more I learnt about them, the more I knew Rhiannon’s dress was perfect for her, along with the jewellery we then had custom made, which matched her dress and personality beautifully.

Even though Rhiannon was initially nervous about doing the shoot, she slowly relaxed and turned out to be an absolute natural in front of the camera. The shoot itself, with its natural organic feel, complimented not only her outer beauty, but her natural inner beauty too.

In a medley of flora and blooms Rhiannon stood bare foot in the lush, green grass, her spinning and then running with her hands in the ‘must have’ pockets, elegantly showed off the soft drape of the full skirt.

I had a wonderful time working with Rhiannon and her mum Leeann; very rewarding. Wishing Rhiannon a fantastic evening on her special day.
