Blissful Boho Bridal

I love working with Danielle, from DK and Co. Photography and Film, so when she asked if I would like to be involved in this boho styled bridal shoot, the answer was only ever going to be yes!

This shoot is the epitome of Danielle. The romantic, candid, bohemian feel these images exudes is who Danielle is to her core. Every time I have worked with her, she has been able to relax my overly energetic and passionate nature and understood what I was envisaging. This is a shoot Danielle has wanted to bring to life for some time, while also showcasing new locations at Austinvilla Estate, on the Gold Coast. With the extremely limited time available, I feel she nailed it.

I am usually on location with all the styled bridal shoots that Helena Couture Designs is involved with, but due to my unexpected busier than normal workload, I was unable to attend, so I was eager to see the result.

Our real-life Gold Coast Couple Tegan and Luke were the models for this styled bridal shoot. Tegan is a gorgeous, vivacious, athletic individual, who is shorter in height, than the average model. It was especially important to me that the dress Tegan wore in this shoot, highlighted her personality and figure shape. As soon as I met Tegan, I knew the exact dress that would complement her, “Racquel”, our boho semi-transparent long-sleeved lace wedding dress.

When you are a creative person, like this team of wedding industry professionals, an idea can form and evolve in your mind and when it is ready, you want to pounce on the idea with speed. I find you can create great magic this way, as the idea still evolves when on location and when all the vendors have bought their craft to the shoot, it turns out to be epic.
