Miss Earth is an international beauty pageant, with a focus on environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility. Miss Earth is based in the Philippines, since its conception in 2002, and is broadcasted to over eighty countries, annually.

Miss Earth is made up of four place winners; 1st Miss Earth, 2nd Miss Air, 3rd Miss Water, and 4th Miss Fire; and our very own Gold Coast Riley Aston, who has been modeling since she was a baby, won Miss Water 2022!
It is so important to us, at Helena Couture Designs, that the dress we selected in discussions with Riley, for Miss Earth Australia, suited not only her figure shape and personality but also enhanced her presence on stage with a modern, yet regal look. Having worked with Riley earlier in 2022, I knew what would be perfect for her and the competition, and PIA was chosen.

Like mother, like daughter
A lot can happen in 21 years. Empires can be formed and flourish, pandemics can wreak havoc and fashion styles can come full circle. During these times, family (whether it be hand-picked or allocated at birth) helps us through the good and the bad times. So it is no surprise to see a daughter follow in her mother’s footsteps and be published in Queensland Brides.
In 2022, Riley was featured modelling Helena Couture Designs. The first of the two designs Riley wore was the APHRODITE Dress, inspired by the fashion styles of Ancient Greece and Rome.
Riley also showcases an exclusive made-to-measure black and white ostrich feather PLUMAGE ensemble. These couture designs are ideally suited for the ultra modern bride, avant-garde bridal, and evening wear.
